The desire to print an inside joke on a shirt came along pushed us to delve into the world of applying artwork to t-shirts. In the decade that followed, we became experts in every possible way of putting a logo onto a shirt.
Research led us to the world of screen printing. It wasn't long before we'd built our own 4-arm press and began printing larger batches once word got out that we were armed with the supplies. The setup and wash cycle associated with traditional screen printing pushed us to find an economical way of doing smaller runs.
Computer cut, heat transfer vinyl, a vinyl cutter / plotter and a heat press soon made this a reality. Having a vinyl cutter on hand transitioned us into offering vinyl graphics for vehicles and store fronts.
There's not much that can't be accomplished with a good library of colors to cut from and the skill to apply and install vinyl. Within several months we'd covered a lot of ground installing window graphics for local businesses and eventually conquered the art of completely wrapping a vehicle with Cast Vinyl. Nothing seemed out of reach.
During this time, Direct to Garment printers had been introduced to the market and transformed the way shirts could be printed. After a tremendous amount of research on consumables, reliability and quality of print, we purchased an Anajet FP-125 4 color with White Ink printer. The aquistion of this machine opened up a hallway of doors for us. Printing photo quality shirts on cotton was faster, cleaner and more economical than any other process. This machine put us on a first name basis with the UPS driver on our route and let us expand into the national market.
